Turning Workplace Gossip into a Springboard for Productive Behaviour

Gossip has been one of the employees’ most frequent informal activities, especially in last few decades. However, both seasoned and early-career administrators sometimes miss out on benefits that come along with its practice, resulting an over-emphasis dangers. This study examined reasons for concept gossip phenomenon, functions effects, how to get best it enterprise space among public sector employees Ghana. The study, which was based secondary data, identified four main organisation: information-sharing, entertainment, friendship, penetration. We found that, terms negative gossip, individual organisation have a responsibility discourage act. It further revealed sharing team victories encourages positive interns reinforces strong bond members improves morale workplace. conclude as long man remains social being is activity, then everyone propensity gossip. Therefore, inevitable, but what makes thrive not simply nature man; rather, support receives from group or network shared. Thus, going forward, we recommend, other things, refusing respond effectively repudiating surest way stop tracks.
